PC Game Pass: Guardians of the Galaxy Livestream

To help promote the arrival of Guardians of the Galaxy to PC Game Pass, we recruited Milo the Labrador to cosplay as Cosmo and host a livestream like no other.

After donning a custom space suit, Milo livestreamed the game on Twitch for all his fans. By choosing either a treat in the left bowl or right bowl, Milo influenced different dialogue tree choices and storylines at key moments.

Every time Milo drank from his water bowl, we cut to a special go-pro where fans at home could get a close up of the slobber. This also activated free PC Game Pass codes to drop in chat, rewarding fans who were watching live.

At the same time, we hosted a sweepstakes on social that gave fans the chance to win a replica cassette player—just like the one Starlord uses.

As creative lead on this project I oversaw all elements of the activation, from ideation through to the livestream itself, even designing interstitials and stream graphics.
